We bring you a unique calculator for bottleneck and chokepoint problems in your computer. We will help you to choose most appropriate processor and graphic card for your PC. Our calculator offers you best solutions for reducing or removing bottleneck problems.
you can use this
select cpu and gpu then click grapics card intense tasks
aka gaming
it isnt perfect but gives the general bottleneck
also a 20 percent bottleneck is only noticeable on gpu heavy games
hm ok thanks
Please don't use tools like this, they are useless. You can't state that something is a bottleneck unless you have the exact program and settings.
they still give a good indication
@tulip yew Open GeForce Experience overlay, click on the Settings cogwheel, go to HUD layout, select Performance. Choose a region of the screen and set it to Advanced.
because there are literally billions of component combination
and thousands of cpu gpu combos
@fading urchin The combinations don't matter, it depends in the program and settings. You just check the GPU and CPU load.
@tulip yew Go ingame and press Alt + R to open the overlay. Screenshot and post it here
You are very much in fact being bottlenecked by that cpu pcie 3.0 as well as basically a 5500 with igpu id go with 5700x or above
If he plays games like Fortnite or any recent games it will be very noticeable that's coming from someone who has 3070 with a 5600g
And Fortnite is a CPU heavy game so my point still stands
the 5800x3d/5700x3d is the best cpu to get for that platform
You don't need the best one on the platform for that GPU
depends on the res
You didn't say CPU you said GPU but either way your not going to be using full GPU
1080p 1440p either will be fine that's from experience myself
5700x
Or higher
Yep that’s my fault
You can pretty much saturate 3070 with 5600x
i would go straight to the 5800x3d
This also greatly depends on how much you want to pay and if they are willing to slap some higher clocked ram to make use
either way, bottleneck calculators are a scam
Agree same with user bench
3200 is perfectly fine ram speed. you wont really get much from higher
they have 3200
Oh yes I didn't see picture
anyway, the only meaningful upgrade from the 5600g (other than ryzen 7000) would be the 57/5800x3d
Not really as I said 5600g is basically 5500 with igpu 5600x leaves the 5600g in the dust in so many levels
20-60 FPS boost in a lot of games
And if I’m buying a new cpu for a dead platform, I’m getting the best one so I can use it for as long as possible
I have a question related to this,
I have a 13500h and intel integrated graphics the calculator says i have a 60% bottleneck but i usually do productivity focused work how will that bottleneck affect my work
The calculator is wrong. All bottleneck calculators are a scam
