My friend needs a new pc for gaming and music production. He works in ableton live and his current pc is not powerful enough for big projects with a lot of plugins. His budget is €1500. I made a part list at this price with a ryzen 9 7900x cpu, since I thought 12 cores would be nice for big projects in ableton. He also plans to do some gaming so I chose a radeon rx 7800 xt videocard. I'm curious if this is a good combo, or if the cpu is maybe too overpowered for ableton. I would also like to know if the rest of the part list is good, because I've only ever built one pc before.
