So i've read a few posts online stating that trim should be enabled, i thought this was the case for my ssd, however it said disabled (1) but on my PC it states that (0) is disabled and (1) is enabled does anybody know how to tell if trim is enabled and if this effects my data on my OS ssd drive, Thanks!

So do i not change anything?

I wonder why CMD's got it the wrong way round, is this a common occurance for cmd queries?

CMD doesn't have it wrong way around - this is how Microsoft designed it. The logic is backward, but think about it: DisableTHING = 0 means the thing is NOT disabled, aka it's enabled. 😉

Learn how to check, disable or enable TRIM support in Windows to make your SSD or Solid State Drives run at optimal performance. TRIM is a storage level hint, NTFS sends for some normal inline operations such as “deletefile.” NTFS will send such trim hints when files are deleted or moved from those regions.
