Hello!

I am looking to build a new PC for gaming. I do not know much of computer building and my current (and first) PC was built by my friend. I do not know where to check the specs, but i do have a screenshot of the receipt with (i am guessing) all of the parts in my current PC. I will post the image as well. Sorry for the bad quality, i must've screenshotted it like a million times back when i got the PC in 2018 and the quality has suffered. I am living in Estonia

I play all kinds of games - from CS2 to Open-world story games with great visuals. One extra game that should recieve extra attention is Rust.

Rust uses currently like 99% of my CPU when gaming and the FPS i am getting is horrid, not as bad as sometimes crashing while opening my inventory and other such random crashes.

I actually first wanted to build a completely new PC, but I thought that maybe there could be something i could also use from my current one.

I play on 1080p and my monitor goes up to 240Hz. I also have a second monitor that has discord (and sometimes game guides) open when i am gaming and I also see myself streaming in the near future. I would ideally like all games to run at maximum FPS with heavier games running medium settings. but i am thinking of the build to be around the 1500€ range, maximum would be 2200€.

I am also not very familiar with liquid/water-cooling systems since i am afraid to change the liquid and so on, but if the build requires it i am willing to learn.

Also i kind of want to preserve my storage, but i do need more SSD, maybe 1-2Tb
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :))

PICE and ATX3 aren't everything when it comes to a psu

Atx 3.0 doesn’t matter for a 7800xt

If you think you’re going to get a gpu with the new power connector, it might still be worthwhile to get one tho

Why?

The connector itself was fundamentally flawed, letting you pull it part way out while still being clipped

Honestly should have made it the same size as the 8 pin

#

But maybe put the sense pins in the middle or something

#

So you don’t mess it up

#

Maybe not the exact same size, but larger than it is now
