After like 4 years of trying to get a proper pc that handles VR I'm done at last.

Spec
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500

RAM: 2x8gb corsair vengeance LPX 3200MHZ

GPU: Sapphire Pulse Rx 7600XT (vram was a priority🖕)

Boot drive: Kingston A2000 240gb NVME

misc storage: 2tb 7200rpm seagate barracuda + 500gb 7200rpm seagate barracuda + 240gb crucial sata SSD + 80gb hdd from an old ps3

Monitor: MSI MP273A 1920x1080 100hz 27'

VR: quest 2 obviously

the backplate is more aesthetic than practicality

it does have some function to cool the memory chips at the back but this card doesn't get that hot so-

no i checked a teardown of my model and there are memory chips on the back so clearly the backplate serves a function

#

plus you gotta remember that the 7600xt is an overclocked 7600 with double the vram

#

so there's gotta be more memory chips
