why cant i get 45w charging/samsung super fast charging

#

also do you think i need it to be plugged into a wall plug to get faster charging

vale rock
# glossy rock also do you think i need it to be plugged into a wall plug to get faster chargin...

guessing by this, you're connected to a power strip. It'll be fine, just make sure to not overload the strip. If you have the standard charger that "super fast charges" that came with the phone, it's 25w. The one that came with my phone as a few weeks ago decided to stop outputting more than 13w. [charger came in the box with my S20 Ultra]
If you have a 45w charger, make sure your cable can support it. Should be USB-C on both ends at least.

ow

#

one second i have the charger i use

but i got super fast charging to work on this one which i dont own

pls explain

vale rock
vale rock
#

How fast is it charging

glossy rock
#

green

#

not blue

#

my second charger

vale rock
#

Green is anything up to 20w. Download accubattery. It'll tell you exactly how much you're charging. [add 2-5w for active use]

glossy rock
#

okay

#

so

#

what am i looking for

vale rock
#

shit im dumb

glossy rock
#

okay

#

what am i looking for

vale rock
#

Phones charge at 2.1A. It's outputting at 3.25A

glossy rock
#

okay

vale rock
#

So it's running bare minimum

glossy rock
#

what about my 2 one

vale rock
#

That one can step the amps down

glossy rock
#

okay

#

then why dose that one not work

vale rock
#

Charger 1 cannot step the amps down properly to charge at 45w without frying the phone. To protect your phone, it's charging at 1A likely 5v

Charger 2 is able to step down the amps to 2.1 so it can charge at 45w without sending your phone to an early grave

glossy rock
#

okay

#

so why 2 not do fast charging

vale rock
#

You can only charge at 10w. Anything else would kill the phone

glossy rock
#

okay

#

i am switchi it

#

so pls answer my question

vale rock
#

Can you send a picture of the back of the other charger

glossy rock
#

This one

#

?

vale rock
glossy rock

#

My 30 watt charger

glossy rock
vale rock
#

Green is anything below 18w. #1236118529112281089 message This charging brick can only charge your phone at 10w. There's nothing you can do to change that.

glossy rock
#

So first video what about it

vale rock
#

green = up to 18w
blue = 19w+
The charger you're using isn't outputting more than 18w. The flip 5 has a max charge speed of 25w.

glossy rock
#

No

Buy Z Flip 5 at Samsung US: https://howl.me/ckDVIrz8J2H
Buy Z Flip 4 at Samsung US: https://howl.me/ckDVIrWANvK

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 does not come with a charger in the box. With that in mind, which charger work best to get maximum charging speeds, the 25w or 15w charger? In fact we added the 45w charger to see if it makes a difference!

45w...

glossy rock
#

vale rock
#

glossy rock
#

what is accubattery app

vale rock
#

go on to your appstore and search accubattery

#

It will show you exactly what your phone is charging at.
It displays wattage, voltage, temp, and average %/h.

glossy rock
#

KkY

#

Okay

vale rock
#

Plug the other charger in and send another picture

glossy rock
#

Which one

vale rock
glossy rock
#

Do you thing at a serent point I won't fast charge

vale rock
#

I want to make sure, both photos you sent were seperate chargers?

glossy rock
#

yrsd

#

first one was the 20watt

vale rock
#

You're phone's broken

glossy rock
#

2 is big one

#

what

#

it not broken

vale rock
#

Bring it to a repair shop and tell them it's refusing to charge faster than 6w

#

Somethings very wrong with it

glossy rock
#

or it is 92f

vale rock
#

That won't cause it to be that low

glossy rock
#

so temp controle

vale rock
#

temp control won't do anything until it's over 101f

glossy rock
#

wait

#

let me drain battery

vale rock
#

my guy, it should be charging at 20w even at the current temp and percentage.

glossy rock
#

wait

vale rock
#

Something's internally wrong with the phone

glossy rock
#

not true

#

Explane this one then

#

#

# glossy rock pls explain

Based on the 2x Lenovo chargers you linked, it appears the second one from your work(?) with the rounded edges supports the USB-C PD3.0 specification, while the first one doesn't... at least, it's not listed on Lenovo's product website. I'm with @vale rock here... either a) the charger being used isn't capable of negotiating higher charging rates, or b) something is "wrong" with the phone.

# glossy rock Do you thing at a serent point I won't fast charge

Could be this. I'm unfamiliar with Samsung phones, but my OnePlus 5T won't fast charge above 80%. (Rather, it shows fast charging, but battery monitoring apps indicate it's slowing down the charging rate as it approaches 100%, which is what it's designed to do.)

vale rock
#

When the battery hits 85% it slows, but not enough to knock it below super fast charging

glossy rock
#

it dose

so i think so

vale rock
#

Still, it wouldn't be that low

glossy rock
#

ow mabey it because at the bottom of my wall out it is a power strip

vale rock
#

I wonder if one of the batteries is malfunctioning

glossy rock
vale rock
#

The only way to know would be to have it looked at. Unless you're ripping it open and manually testing each ones voltage

vale rock

It doesn't matter if they looked at it yesterday. ANYTHING can happen in an instant.

glossy rock
vale rock
#

If they changed it and the same thing happened again, then somethings wrong with PD [port and or cables that go to the battery]

glossy rock
#

idk

#

but i am chaging it so it dosent mader
