#PC not booting up
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
have you tried to run in other room socket?
No but read this
Bro I google and worked around the pc myself. It seems when i connect the CPU connectors the PSU rejects it and doesnt boot. Rest of the components boot up fine. What should I do?
how can you say PSU rejects it, did you crosscheck via multimeter? if no then check cpu pins and cpu socket to make sure they are not bend or any other damages
What does psu reject it mean how does it reject it
not everyone is a techie, so they express themselves somehow, this is why he says the PSU rejects it. i know this term doesn't stand. probably he's trying to say that the CPU and its fans are not heating up, and possibly the PSU CPU connectors are faulty
Oh still. Because reject gives me idea of the human body reject a medication or stuff that is why
I dont have a multimeter. But when I only connected the motherboard it worked but as i connect the CPU nothing happens at all. I got my PSU replaced and i tested it and this problem happened
My mobo works when i connect to psu then after connecting gpu to psu it works but the moment i connect my psu it doesn’t work at all. The PSU doesnt deliver power and it stops working totally.
does the CPU work on a different board/have you tried a different board
and are your wires properly connected
Wires are tightly connected and CPU is on thr same board
