people use US PCPP all the time when they don't live there. Do you?

weary mountain
#

im using usd

mossy elm
#

Are you OK with losing all CPU overclocking/undervolting support?

weary mountain
#

no

There you go 🙂

a620 only ram oc

weary mountain
#

oh

#

shit

mossy elm
#

Yes, RAM XMP/EXPO is fine but PBO is removed entirely.

weary mountain
#

are there any good cheap ones

lyric lion
#

Could just do what I sent

weary mountain
#

im trying to keep the price around 900

mossy elm
#

Not that cheap but cheap, yes.

lyric lion
weary mountain
#

yea

lyric lion
#

How about a 7500f? It’s 130

weary mountain
#

whyd you change the ram and ssd

#

whats wrong with them

lyric lion
#

Ssd a little slow

weary mountain
lyric lion
#

The ram had worse timing

lyric lion
#

It’s a 7600 without an igpu

weary mountain
#

oh yea i dont need igpu

mossy elm
#

The RAM you had was fine. The difference in timings was essentially meaningless in the real world for an XMP/EXPO set and forget build.

then pain

It’s like $4 more for something that’s more stable and will help with your 1% lows just a little bit

mossy elm
#

RM850x is fantastic and will last you a while, but in the current system is more than you need.. though that sale its on almost makes it worth it.

weary mountain
#

im pretty new

weary mountain

oh

lyric lion

There’s not many good 750 watt options cheaper

mossy elm

No offence, but I don't believe you. But it doesn't matter, both kits are cheap.

weary mountain
mossy elm
#

Yes

weary mountain
#

are there any other options for psus in case that sale ends

#

i wont be buying this for a few months

mossy elm
#

Then in a few months come back here and make an entirely new list.

#

If you're doing that, we're all wasting our time.

#

Prices will have all changed and better options will be available.

weary mountain
#

fair ig

#

is it okay to cheap out on fans

#

ive seen a few people reccomend some 13$ 3 pacj

mossy elm
#

Cheap out as in Arctic P12 PWM's, sure. Cheap out as in Molex powered static RPM crap, no.

weary mountain
#

i need thinner since the case is teeny

thanks

#

i would never be able to find some of this info so talking to people helps

#

the motherboard needs to be changed like we said before but ill do that later

mossy elm

First step in visualizing things is simply looking at existing builds. PCPP's Completed Builds section allows you to pick a case then look at full parts lists and builds in that case other people have done.

#

You can even select a GPU and narrow down builds with that case and that GPU, for example.

weary mountain
#

how do i do that

mossy elm
#

Very useful tool

#

Use the filters on the left

north dragon
#

& play with the filters in each component

mossy elm
#

Or if its easier, just findyour case on PCPP then scroll down to "Builds using this part"

#

all the way at the bottom

#

A visual aid is very helpful

weary mountain
#

thanks for the help

north dragon
#

And yeah that build is fine just ask again right before purchase if you still need help, likely different things will be on sale

mossy elm
#

speaking of, I submitted my build to PCPP but its ah.. changed a bunch since then
