Hello I built a ryzen 5 8600g system with 32gb ddr5 7200mhz and a b650 asrock lighting wifi.
When I turn on the pc it lights up but no display on the screen. It stays on but no display on screen. Motherboard has 2 solid red lights directly next to eachother and the manual says it is for cpu and dram. There is no gpu should go off of the integrated. I reseated ram and tried different slots. I plugged a gpu into it and got the same result. I also did update the bios for this cpu still not working just lights up and stays lit up but no display

reseat the cpu
good Idea but I want to try other options first bc it is a lot of effort removing all the shit and stuff
Reseat ram
I did and it had no effect resetting cmos did not work either
You need to reseat the cpu that’s the only thing left that would make a difference
ok I will do that but I do not understand how that would change anything since it locks in place in 1 way only
Make sure to check for bent pins in the socket
You reseat because it’s possible that some of the pins are not making contact with the cpu
Lga sockets are somewhat known to have mounting issues
its my 2nd lga system
1 pin not contacting can be anywhere from fine (just a ground pin) to a non-working memory channel or pcie slot to a post failure
It’s less common on consumer desktop, but not impossible by any means
Happens a lot on rectangle CPUs like intel 12th 13th and 14th gen if they don’t have a contact frame
ok I reseated the CPU unplugged all other things tried both sticks of ram separately and in different slots did cmos reset 2 bios updates
and still just getting CPU and DRAM light
It’s possible you have a bad cpu
