#is it worth sticking with this pc for another 2-3 years before going am5?

ive had this pc for around 8 months now, i only game on it, is there any point in upgrading sooner or should i wait for another year or two
i run all my games well above the needed fps and occasionally game 4k but that’s very rare
Yea keep
okay great, i was told am5 is such a big jump i should move to it now
just wanted to get a second opinion
dude I wish I had a pc like that
I’d look into selling
for what reason?
There’s a solid chance with the money you’d get you could build a great new am5 system with slightly better performance and on a better platform
how much should i sell for?
i could get around 1650
Pog
@tawdry cloak you think sell restart?
For like 1800 we could do a 4080 super and a nice am5 build
hm

i would probably never switch to amd again
have had very bad experiences with these guys
gpus*
i had an am5 build with an 7900xtx and sold it the software was awful to use
now i’m using my old pc which is the 3090
And you downgraded to AM4?
is my old pc
i sold the system as a whole as tbh i did need the money
and got a good deal for it
more then what i paid for it
and you definitely can not get a decent 4080 super build in the uk for 1700 them gpus are still 1,100 alone
Cheapest is £970
Well £967
i will probably wait for the 50 series or 60 series to upgrade
