#pc crashes after 2-3 hours of gameplay

Okay I need some help cause I’m at my end, I been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my friends pc for some context he has been having his pc (ryzen 5 3600, Rx 6700 xt, 3200 mhz ram, 1 tb ssd, 750 w psu, aourus mobo don’t know name)shut down after around 2 - 3 hours of gaming his pc just restarts or sometimes goes into a mode where all screens go black and he has to manually reset his pc there was an incident around 6months - 8 months where a friend was helping him build it and he plugged in a sata cable into his modular psu there was smoke they turned it off when they turned it on it kept going like nothing happened fast forward to about a month ago my friend decided to get another display so he can run 2 displays since then his pc has not made it past 2-3 hrs. First thing I did was get him a new psu he went from a 750 random psu to a 1000w corsair psu (he mentioned he wanted to upgrade into 4000 series card and ryzen 5000 cpu) switched it out problem continues so we thought it was gpu sent it to manufacture and I lent him a stand in the meantime problem continues etc etc eventually we get to now ( r 5 3600x, rx 6700xt sent from manufacture, 1000w corsair psu, tomahawk b450, 3200 mhz) I don’t know what to do still happens the thermals are ok gpu never hits past 50 degrees and cpu doesn’t go past 65

Just checked Xmp is already off🫠

And I did a fresh install of windows

@languid basin I enabled xmp to see if there was any difference and it restarted after 2 games instead of the 2 hours

I have switched the ram prior and still had the same issue

UPDATE
I actually set it to 3200hz what the ram is rated for and so far I made it to 3hrs and a half by far the most it’s gotten too only reason I stopped cause update.-.

Wish me luck boys if I can make it to 4-5 hrs of gaming no problems I’ll consider it fixed and give it back to my friend

Okay boys it worked somehow idk how or why all I did was make it 3200hz instead of auto and it worked

A week I spent doing this and switched out basically the whole pc
