#Bluetooth on Windows

I have been having bluetooth problems with my windows machine for ages now and it's driven me to a point where I NEED to do something about it.

I have multiple bluetooth peripherals on an ASUS B450 motherboard with an external antenna - keyboard, mouse, speaker, sometimes a game controller. Most of the time it works fine, but sometimes a get a spat of trouble:
devices disconnecting and needing to be repaired again (especially annoying on kb/mouse), sometimes a reboot is enough to get stuff connected up again, sometimes devices show up as connected on windows, but the device itself doesn't see the connection (blinky disconnected lights etc.). I'm not sure what is causing this, it definitely happens more often when windows is woken up from sleep, but sometimes it happens just out of the blue.

I am sure the devices themselves are fine. The whole reason that I have this setup, is that I'm using the same devices on my macbook pro and they work perfectly there, every single time, not a single issue.

Can anyone help me get started with troubleshooting my bluetooth on windows? Is there some utility that can help me figure out what is happening? Or maybe someone just knows why BT is so incredibly unreliable on windows?

Quite frankly windows is just absolute ass with bluetooth, and you can't really do anything about it

Really the only thing you can do that may help, is get a bluetooth dongle connected via an usb extension directly to one of the motherboard usb's and keep the dongle as close to where most devices will be.. (this will help with connection dropouts at the very least, not the shitty pairing/connecting problems that you can't really fix)

Another tip i can give you, is if you're using a desktop, do not use sleep on windows as it will cause issues occasionally (especially depending on how long it was in sleep)

If it is a laptop, do daily reboots to help prevent problems
