so your trying to get extenal disaply to work?
Yea
It used to work
Tho
got spare cable
I used it for a multi display setup
try that
try the mini DP
Dont have a cable for that
usb-c
check in driver menu about multiple display
nvida control plannel
Yea that
yes
Its not showing up
the dispaly
What
check the my display is not showing button
I clicked it
And did the thing
Still nothing
The monitor detects something is plugged in
But the laptop not
i can have a gpu not i a system and monitor still can pick it up if i connect the cable to that means not much
well try getting adpter or cable for other display outs for the laptop
might be broken port
i literally reflowed the port
may be broken pin in the connecter or damaged driver
u mean damaged hdmi chip as damaged driver
reflowing only fix if solder joint is broken and that can be seen by eye
hay magic of pc
what
as far as i am aware you dont even need a hdmi connecter solderd to a board for it to see thats it pluged in by the monitor
wtf
thats not how it works
if the monitor sees some kind of power through the hdmi port it will assume something is plugged in
xd
its the same thing as when i plug my ps3 in unplugged from the wall it wont see it
but when i plug it in to the wall the monitor suddenly sees it
so the monitor is getting some kind of power signal from the laptop
but not reciving the right signal for video
so its not possible that the monitor can detect if something is plugged in into the hdmi port when its not powered
i just tride it and worked how i was thinking it dose
He guys please help me if u can
just shorted 2 pin on the connect and my display thinks there somthing on other end\
wrong channel
u need to make a thread
