#windows 11 boot

To my knowledge... the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft's website doesn't have an unattend.xml file on it by default, but I could be wrong. What's the link you used to grab the ISO from?
I got it directly from microsoft.com’s media creational tool under the .iso section. i am trying the media creation tool now, but rufus is showing that it is unable to assign a drive letter even though it is ran as administrator
Hmmm interesting. Could also be possible the USB drive used is of dubious quality. Kinda hard to say though - I'm just guessing at this point.
this is strange. never seen a partition made just under 1mb. this is my mom’s laptop im using to create the iso file
maybe that’s why rufus isnt working?
no thats normal
can you maybe try to redownload the iso and reflash it onto the usb?
btw you can directly download the iso from microsoft.
was able to get it fixed. thanks all!!
Glad to hear. You should share what was wrong and what you did to fix it in case someone else runs into the same problem in the future. 🙂
could have been my rufus installation. I checked the boxes to bypass tpm checks + secure boot (although I meet the requirements) and also chose to create a user profile. that was the issue for me i believe
