Everytime I play a game with hdr enabled and I exit the game, all of my screens start to flicker and I have to restart the hdr monitor for it to be back to normal.
Monitors:
Laptop screen: Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6H
HDR monitor: Dell G2724D
2nd monitor: AOC C24G1
The hdr monitor is connected through usb c to dp cable and the 2nd monitor through hdmi

it might be trying to go from hdr game to standard mode for something like a browser

its got smart hdr if thats what you mean
i put it on DisplayHDR 400
else i dont see any auto detection
i got auto-hdr in the windows settings enabled

maybe? i also have an hdr monitor but its msi. it also flickers for me but im on windows 10. msi has a thing where it will try to detect what content you are vieweing in hdr and give you the "best" picture mode for what you are doing in my case switching from a game to chrome to pause music and then switcing back to the game would make it go crazy. turning off auto hdr fixed that
try the windows setting maybe its switched to there on windows 11

ok, you could also try enabling hdr and then updating gpu policy in cmd, then restarting

no, turning off auto hdr on my monitor fixed that. it never flickers anymore

yeah that was the same behavior i had

you can also try doing windows + shift + alt + b when it does that, it refreshes the gpu and all screens conected to it

is it that command? gpupdate /force
jut run cmd as admin and type gpupdate

you need to restart after you do this.
i dont think this can break anything but if your unsure create a restore point before running the command
