also is the splitter 3 pin or 4 pin?
can you change the header to DC control instead of pwm?
yes
they are still dc powered
and DC control means that the voltage is changed to adjust the speed instead of the pulse width
(pulse width modulation is what pwm stands for)
the motherboard does it automatically
go to the bios and try to change it to dc control
if its not already that way
pic plz
can you use a phone to take a picture?
Search for “fan”
Ok go to smart fan control
Biostar is ass
They need a search bar
Can you recalibrate the fan detection?
Or look at fan control mode
Ok go to control mode then
On the one that’s not controlling itself
Can you select the “4 pin” box in the middle of the screen and change it?
….
New fans
Because your motherboard sucks and can’t do 3 pin control 💀
Mate they’re like $30 for 3
Better than a new motherboard
I mean you could just let them run at 100%
(If you want rgb)
Can you take a pic of the splitter
Yeah, that’s called the “tach” pin and it detects the speed. All splitters have a “master” fan that controls the speed of all other fans
Anyway, since your motherboard has no dc fan control support, either buy new fans, buy a new motherboard, or live with the 100% fan speed
Nope
Fan controllers rely on pwm support
you can try that
worth a shot ig
actually, there are these fans that are way cheaper than what i was thinking

and you'd need a $5-$10 hub or splitter
