Wanted to Upgrade this 2016 Rig to get to 1440p 144 Hz - Casual Gaming and some light WFH

Thing is I'm flexible but goal is smooth 1440p with 144 FPS on all such games

Was somewhere leaning towards i5 14600k and 4070 but need substitutes to tone down the price - for reference I am in India

Also thing is 980 ti is still a baller for 1080p but not enough to have a bump up in resolution to stick with time
