#upgraded gpu-now fps drops

did you get drivers
ddu (Display Driver Uninstaller) might help to get rid of old driver if they are the ones causing issues 🤔
i reccomend this
Yes ofc
I used that
I’m getting in the 300’s in fps in val but randomly it’ll dip to the hundreds and stutter
so is it better now but not all fixed ?
also make sure ray tracing is not on in valorant
you was using nvidia before so it might be on in game settings
Can you tell current status of your problem?
And if you can get HWmonitor, I like to see maximums and averages of temps and clockspeeds
Also did you update? check your Directx, Visual C++ or any distributive(s) you have with your games.
(!) I recommend to disable windows update for driver updates and allow only software updates, Grab and download drivers directly from sites. (do remember to say "no" to bundled software.)
No that’s how it was when I made the post
I don’t think valorant has ray tracing
And anyway my old gpu doesn’t hav ray tracing
When I switched from nvidea to amd I found I had to reinstall most games because they were stuttering and having frame drops once I reinstalled it was fine
Try reinstalling
ok will do
i get feeling that gpu might be faulty, have you try running stress test on it ?
