Also every once and a while maybe once or twice every couple weeks when i boot my pc up it takes longer than normal and there is a light on my motherboard for the extended period when it feels stuck, its the DRAM light and then i think the cpu light on too, and then after it seems unstuck and my devices plugged in turn on the boot and vga light turn on for a second right before it launches and then its good

the mobo's just making sure everything's on place and working
what PSU is it?\
oh is that normal?
yes
uh can i check that on my pc or do i need to look at the back?
look at the back
also, what windows do u use?
theres nothing rlly on the pack of my psu, the only text i can see on it is 100-240V` and 60/50Hz and then like text that looks like VGA or smth
im pretty sure its an 850 watt psu though
and im using windows 11
nevermind then, should be on the lateral part of it, but if it's not visible unless u remove it, it's fine, just making sure uve got something good for powering those specs
did u change anything related to TPM in bios settings before?
i've also always felt like my pc might of been slightly slower than some other 4090 builds ive seen because in some benchmarking vids my avg is a little lower than theirs
Whats tpm?
only thing i tried doing was maybe like 5 months ago when i tried turning on XMP or whatever its called for me for my RAM
what did u use for benchmark?
but then found out that i cant go above 3600 mhz of ram for my CPU
oh nvm uve looked how games run
just like comparing to streamers who have the same sepcs as mine playing games or youtube channels that show fps with the same specs as mine
it still definitely runs very well just a little less performant
why not? ddr5 runs much faster
than 3600mhz
im not sure, this is what is says under my cpu specs when i look it up
PCI Express® Version
PCIe® 5.0
System Memory Type
DDR5
Memory Channels
2
Max Memory Speed
2x1R
DDR5-5200
2x2R
DDR5-5200
4x1R
DDR5-3600
4x2R
DDR5-3600
i have 4 32gig ram sticks to get 128 gigs
so that means i can only have each one on 3600 right?
Im pretty sure they are DDR5
they are
here's a screenshot of this program that was on my pc when i first installed it showing some specs
oh alr
thats the advertised speed i guess
does that mean i can turn on XMP even though my cpu says it can only do 4 3600?
u could give it a try and see if its stable
Yeah i tried it before but then turned it off when i saw that it said 3600
it seemed fine while i had it on though
Do you have an idea what could of caused the bluescreen?
looks like a common bsod on windows 11, make sure ur windows is updated and that theres nothing corrupted, (u can run "sfc /scannow" in cmd to check that)
