Is the a2179 air a silicon or intel machine and are you trying to boot camp Linux or some other program

#

Nvm it’s an intel i5 mb

#

You might need macOS on the machine for the drivers and stuff, I know windows comes with pre installed macOS drivers when you boot camp it but I have no idea if Linux does so you might need to source the drivers from elsewhere

If you need to reinstall macOS, you can hold Command + R when booting

Is your macbook an Early 2020 Intel MacBook Air? I'm currently running Arc with lots of tabs and Vencord, it works /fine/ with the same specifications. But I have 1000+ cycles on the battery and I have to keep it plugged in most of the time effectively making it a slow desktop with a tiny screen

#

It's 3x more expensive than it should be though (in terms of performance)

#

Also, apparently it can clock up to 3.2 ghz but with the cooling system I doubt it will ever reach that.

You probably mean an early 2013 MacBook Air?
