So my friend was downloading valorant and went afk for 30 mins and when he came back, he saw that his pc is on but his monitor isnt giving any display, and pc is on because when you remove usb it makes sound and it was giving whatsapp notifications. But after like every 1 min, the monitor says "Hdmi inactive" and goes to sleep and it keeps repeating, he tried restarting and securing his hdmi cable. what can i do?

monitor is hp m22f
his pc originally had 2x8gb ram, but i removed one of those 8gb sticks and put it in his old pc for extracting data, but i did it like 7 hours ago and he has been using it fine for 2.5 hours and this happened just now
