I was looking into upgrading my GPU from a RX 6600 to a 6700 xt or a 6800 xt. I started looking at GPUs because my PC was struggling to maintain 60 fps in the new Avatar game. Now budget isn't really a problem so disregarding that (and considering some level of future-proofing) what would be a better choice? I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600x and my case is a Phanteks Eclipse G360A.

I should add that a 6700 xt costs around 500 dollars where I live and a 6800 xt around 700
No budget? 4090
Yeah I should've clarified that by no budget I meant that I'm not limited by a budget, if you think the 6800 xt is a better choice then I'll get that one. However if the 6700 xt makes more sense to get then I'll go for that one
How about 7800XT
Would that be a step over the 6800 xt? I mean if it works relatively well with my cpu and fits in my case I could see myself getting one
It’s slightly better
I’m just trying to see if it’s cheaper for some reason
Actually
What country are you in
Sweden
Yeah
6000 series new is more expensive for some reason
What's the difference between a Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT Gaming Pulse and an ASUS Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB TUF Gaming OC? The ASUS one is almost 77 dollars more expensive but I don't see what the difference is.
Is it just different manufacturers?
Damn
Go with the XFX I sent
It’s the second cheapest one
(Cheapest is sapphire pulse)
Yeah it's a bit more aesthetically pleasing then the sapphire one so def gonna pick that one up if I go with the 7800 xt
And it should fit in my case just fine?
idk what case u have
Yea
Just to be sure check how large the card it on its website and check the case max gpu length on its site
Case can fit gpu's up to 40 cm in length and the xfx is only 32.6 so there's room to spare
And in the future if I decide to upgrade my cpu I could match the xfx with something like a Ryzen 7 7800X3D?
What resolution are you at
1080
What would be better for 1080p?
7800X3D is the best gaming cpu
I was just wondering if you could get away with a 7600 or 7500f
bc they’re still good cpus
Yeah I mean I'm not playing too cpu heavy titles
It’s probably better to just upgrade to a 5700X3D in the future tbh
Alright so the xfx gpu to begin with and when I decide to get a new cpu the ryzen 7 5700x3d will be a good upgrade?
