probably could get around 300 for cpu board gpu and ram at leas, maybe 400
also https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/nVDcMV its the best i could do unless you wanted a beefier gpu
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 6800
but really a mid range cpu with mid range gpu makes the most sense
if your budget is higher you could shell out an extra 100 for a 7800xt or 150 for 4070
well since youre at 1440 definitely the gpu on newer games
my 6650xt is as fast as 2070 super and cant do 1440 100+ unless i turn down the settings
on new games
also on am5 theres no need for a platform jump for a good while
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600
grab these
and then after that get a new gpu
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394719392405 you could get something like this
well yes, as the 6650xt like the 6600 and 6600xt are aimed at 1080p only
you'd want a 6700xt or better for 1440p
7800xt is not worth it over the 6800xt
3% more performance for £50-100+ more isn't worth it
@hollow pebblebuying secondhand is definitely worth it
though any 3000/5000/7000 series amd is going to beat that 8700k for gaming performance
its the same price...
7800xt is cheaper, the 6800 is whats 100 pounds less
7800xt is 479 gbp, 6800xt is 490
still not worth it tbh
depends on his psu
you can run the 6950xt on his psu with no issues
as of right now, more vram and performance for the price when it comes to mid and high end
on the low end, amd is pretty meh
nvidia is too though
low end is just a no go this gen
70-95% the performance for half the price in most cases
its a c or higher?
thats an exxaggeration nowadays
amd stopped slashing prices and nvidia lowered theirs somewhat
tier A psu
not really
generally more power efficient cpu
you can draw more performance out of an older gpu by using a newer cpu instead
even if you went with an r5 5600, b550 mobo, and used the ram you have, you'd get more performance out of the 1070ti you currently have
though i'll warn you, palworld is relased being partnered with amd, so it works better with an amd gpu
option #2 mainly
