#Dell Inspiron 5680 with RTX3050?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
dont buy a 3050
RX 6600 - Brand New
RTX 2060, 3060, 3060ti used
Personally I'd go this route
I think 450w is enough for a rtx 2060 definitely
not sure abt 3060/3060ti
i mean, i can grab a used 3050 for 100$
i know it is not a good value new but for 100 I dont see why not
I would never buy it new lol but I thought that 100$ price tag would justify it
there is much better value at $100
get a 1660 ti or a 2060
not sure if those are $100 actually lemme check
2060 is $150
1660 ti is $110
actually get a vega 64 for $110
Vega support ended btw
i would rather get a newer worse card tbh. i had a vega 64 (i still have it in my server) and i HATE it
prob an exception to it but i dispise that card
where are you getting these numbers from.. ? 50% faster -- are you meaning 50% more performance? from what I see, that is not the case at all. it is better, but not 50% better
show me a video that says 50% more performance. none of the ones I am looking at, reviews or videos show 50% more
(i think we are being optimistic)
i see it lol all good
the first one just embedded for me after a full minute 💀
anyway
more like 46% but
still a lot faster
1660ti vs 3050 -- i would rather have a gpu that is 4 gens newer.
I cannot find a 2060 atm for 100 used.
You did find the 5700XT for a good price but what about ... rtx minecraft?
yeah it doesn't have raytracing
30 dollars over budget
but your ass is not going to be raytracing at this budget
lol
unless you like 20 fps
lol i know (it is also not for me, i got a 4070ti). trying to help out a friend. i am pretty sure the budget of 100 is pretty solid and not possible to increase
i think i might snag the 3050 tbh. get the flashy effect and for 100 it is decent enough. She is using a 1030 rn lmao
yeah 3050 might be the best bet if $100 is abolute max
i am pretty sure. maybe 125 but i cant find anything at the moment. and we only have a 450W with a single 8 pin
you could also get https://www.ebay.com/itm/145602785175 if possible as it's a little bit faster
so power delivery is limited
yeah I dont think any of these cards draw very much
the 5700XT draws like 250W max yea
other cards should be less
5600XT uses 205W
so I think the choice here is either 5600XT or 3050
3050 max power is 132W
yea i think 3050 seems pretty good considering all things. and it is paired with .. an i5 8600 i think? so it is already a little more than the cpu can do imo.
but we are keeping it at 1080p so it should be ok.
the entire pc i snagged for her for 100$. so "total build" cost is gonna be 200$ with a RTX 3050. not too bad
damnnn
Thats priced at 2 4090s per 3090
