I’m having issues with my 5800x3d temps with Thermalright PS120SE cooler, the temperature is reaching tjmax in like 15-20 seconds and staying there for the entire run while running cinebench r23, other users are reporting maxing out at 80-85. Could it be because I bought the CPU used? How do I test if the cpu is running hotter than a normal 5800x3d? I’ll return the CPU if there is an issue.

What's the room ambient?
What's the case is it in?
And what config are the fans in your case?
The fans are in default config, haven’t changed anything. Case is Msi Mag Forge 100r and ambient temp is 22 or lower depending on the heating
Should I return the cooler and get a different one?
Does the contact seem okay?
There seems to be...
Uneven contact.
Try repasting.
And remounting.
Screwing down the cooler with a cross pattern.
Oh wait..
Uh.
Screw it down evenly, I mean.
Okay, which thermal paste should I get? I ran out of the one that came with it
Disable that in bios and see if that makes a difference
