#High Ram usage from Service Host?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
no, 2.1 mb of ram is nothing.
there is no reason to worry here
if you terminate the proccesses it will probably close your game since this is an essential file from sys32
if your really concerened about ram usage its better to upgrade/close other programs you dont need while playing tarkov
not when theres 100s of them
look at the title name, they are all doing something different.
its not 1 process
these are the main processes everything else is just system host
so like 20-30% of my memory should just be system host
16
Yes, there are 100s of system processes. Windows has a lot to handle
16 is starting to become minimum requirement these days, 32gb is recommended. there are more and more games that use over 10gb of ram.
Yeah, that’s a completely normal amount of ram usage
ram is also very cheap these days now so not much of a hole in your wallet
At idle, 6GB of ram used is pretty normal. Add an 8GB game and you’re at 80% of 16GB
yeah im motherbaord limitted tho
what motherboard do you have?
hp 8767

so i cant even change xmp
pc?
yeah
i got a pavilion bro
oh this is a laptop?

so desktop
your good for 32gb at 2933mhz
i cant change xmp profile anyway so even if i bought new ram it wouldnt let me get 2933
yes but your current ram doesent do that either so thats not really an issue
i think that on HP it's activated already
no they have xmp its just literalyl locked
it shows up on bios but you cant click on it. its like they are teasing you
actually might befor this model since its older. i know moria and hana do that
he is running his current ram at 2666 so could be that its already running xmp
Yes.
should be at 2933 tho
no unless the ram specifies 2933 on the sticker
it does
so then xmp is off and locked
yea
I got some XMP problems on my pc too
i had a hana motherboard, mine was updated from factory so it was already on when i got it
