go back to #tech-chat-1 , sorry they just threw you here
unhack me first
wdym
cpu comes with cooler thats fine for it
but can you send link
okok
what are you going to be doing on this pc?
how do u share it
if its anything other than gaming
im new to this shit 😭
gaming, school work coding
bascially everything
Your Account
im on my phone
oh
copy link in URL
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 3600, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, Thermaltake Versa H18 MicroATX Mini Tower
did it work
yeah
valorant, fortnite roblox, minecraft and overwatch.
so mainly fps games
and probably gta 5
then do not go a 250GB ssd
and assassins creed
got it
oh yeah all those games will not fit on that even before windows
i'd recommend a 1TB storage
if that goes over your budget you'd be fine with 16GB of memory/ram
what resolution is your monitor(s)?
u can change the rtx 3060 for an rx 6650 xt, its faster and cheaper, unless u really want nvidia
yeah
would u recommend the western digital black tho
and is it true that when i buy my cpu it already comes with a cooler??
someone on the other chat told me that
the Crucial P3 1TB is about $20 cheaper
yes
yeah the Ryzen 5 3600 comes with a pretty good cooler
oh okok thats good to hear
hmmm okok
this i my monstrosity https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8zkW6D
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, Thermaltake Versa H18 MicroATX Mini Tower
also to save some if you don't plan to make yt videos or twitch stream games then i'd recommend going down to 16GB instead of 32GB to save cost also
its $25 where 16GB is limiting me in some games even with all background tasks closed
more for 32GB
Im planning to make content and streaming
i'm probably slightly outta touch for asking whats playable lol. i have an Athlon X4 760K, 650ti, 4GB DDR3 and a harddrive lol
forgot to mention that sorry
then yeah 32GB would be a lot better
and i need at least 140 fps while streaming
or jsut around taht number
i normally play valorant so im hoping it wouldnt be a problem
for streaming i'd say stick with nvidia for encoding being better (from what i've heard)
i have no idea what any of those are 😭
i was mostly talking to jjtb7 lol
yeah nvenc
wait im sorry I’m still kinda lost
so what are the things i should be making changes to rn
sorry, not saying i have low end specs so whats playable to me is unplayable to a lot of people
just the ssd
icic
oh ok
so is the motherboard and the rtx 3060 good
change the Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 5600 (that also comes with cooler)
1TB Crucial P3
no ram change
Stick with the RTX 3060 12GB
oh and i heard that power supply is also important so is it also good
i believe so
okok
should be atleast c tier and above
there are 4 options for the cpu
also on a parts list i changed the motherboard so you dont have to worry about a bios update to get your system to work
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xPgF34 here's my recommendation so far
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, Thermaltake Versa H18 MicroATX Mini Tower
2nd option
5600g is bad vs 5600
that becose it is a 5500 but with a ipgu
the only reason i choose the 3600 is bc of the stars and reviews it had😭
its bad due to less l3
its a good cpu, thats for sure, but a 5600 would be better if u can afford it
it has like literally 1147 reviews lol
what do you mean the 5500 5300G5600G 5700G are useing difrent chip over all other 5000 cpu
you're fine, i get it. the 5600 is just 2 generations newer
i am saving up so yea
yeah get the 5600
if you're saving up, then dont have your heart set on these parts as prices can change
but so far its a good list
and here is a tip dont get factor overclocked ram it dont work most of the time
yeah
this is the good ram to pick if you want it to just work
i'll just that on the pcp list
i have not had xmp just work for me
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, Thermaltake Versa H18 MicroATX Mini Tower
same
whats that mean
xmp SHIT
overclock and stuff
turning it on actually corrupted my windows install last night
im new to this pc shit
so the ram says it runs at 3200MHz, but by default it runs at i think 2133MHz (when it comes to ddr4). to fix that your oc it with a setting called XMP
oh icic
the 3200 kit i posted will run at 3200 out of box not setting messing with needed
good at being unstable
i'd recommend never overclocking
i overclock just xmp is shit vs manual oc in terms on perfomice and its hit or miss if it works
got it
well anyways I appreciate all the help that I got especially u two @worn birch @hollow oar
