Please help! Laptop goes to sleep randomly

just got my blade 16, disabled sleep in win11 setting and power config in control panel
only setting done to the system is a -125mv undervolt on cpu, ThottleStop start on boot with task scheduler.
Any idea y?

this doesn't happen when it is connected to an external display

nvm, ur the man! confirmed its the magnet. I'm wearing apple watch with mag chains, when it gets close to the edge of the laptop it think the lid is closed

how else can the laptop tell if the lid is closed

the lid has a magnet as well

the bottom of the laptop can sense when the lid is closed that way

well my old xps don't have that issue

ye it all depends on the design of the laptop, sometimes it'll be near the hinge, other times elsewhere

the magnet was probably located in a different place on the xps
