Yeah, everything powers on with the 3600 in there, just no POST.
Ah, okay, uh look at the Q-LED.
Just not sure if there are any other steps I can take before I conclude the CPU is dead.
See where it stops.
Could just be memory training.
If it stops on DRAM then the system is completely fine.
If you mean an LED on the motherboard, it doesn't have one to my knowledge.
I could be wrong, but I did look for one before
Okay.
Look into your motherboard box.
If you still have it.
They might include something like this.
I don't think there was anything other than an IO shield and SATA cable, but I'll have a look.
Unfortunately not, no.
Rather annoying. I don't think I've ever seen one included with a motherboard? Maybe higher end ones, but none that I've owned.
Little bit of a pain in the arse, but I'll consider it.
Oh uh, I don't think I have it included either.
It's just that yours might.
Because that's the only troubleshooting option.
I don't think there are any other troubleshooting steps I can really do without more hardware, so I'll leave this open for a bit longer and see, otherwise I'll close this post.
I mean, as of now, unless you have a speaker, there is... no chance of troubleshooting.
There's a part of me that hopes, but I'm fairly certain all my options are exhausted unless I have more hardware.
It shouldn't be dead if it could slot in. Or you could check for missing pins.
