#Upgrading RAM

you might get some issues if you dont use the same ram
Not really
My setup is actually fucked up and it works fine
Corsair is very bad nowdays with DDR4.
But I guess it's fair because they cannot constantly throw money into DDR4.
I have read that running 4 sticks i might not get the 3600Mhz speeds and it being more unstable? And the sticks i got are already like over 3 years old so idk how compatible the new stuff is with it...
Afaik, am4 is much better at running 4 sticks, as all CPU’s should be
I have 2x16 and 2x32 kits
Both with different timings
So you guys believe that it work if i just get a new kit of essentially the same ram, and still get the advertised speeds. Even if corsairs quality on DDR4 ram has gone down drastically latelty?
No get a different kit
First see if your current ram can overclock to CL16
Then you can get a kit of 3600CL16
i see...
Otherwise you can save money and get more 3600CL18
Problem is XMP didn’t work so I had to manually set the speed/timings
But it works fine
