#Can't install windows 10

I've just tried to reinstall windows on my gf's computer because she had some issues with COD and Fortnite.

The problem is that the installer had some issues but it did in fact install windows the first time I did it. Fortnite run great and everything (3060, Ryzen 3000 don't remember the exact model and aorus x570 elite) but the PC kept either bsoding with memory_management stop code, Nvidia container would crash randomly or the game would crash.

I thought it was caused by the USB drive I used to install windows since it was old and I'm now trying with a 128gb USB 3.0 verbatim datatraveler, but now the installer either gives me a 0x8007025D error code or bsod (page fault non paged area or whatever) WITH BOTH USBS, it doesn't matter if it's the old or the new one.

I even tried to update the bios to the latest version since she had a 2019 version installed.

I'm trying to install windows on her 1tb ssd, but she has 2 other HDDs connected with games and photos in them.

I've installed windows so many times in my life I lost count, but right now I feel like a complete newbie missing something super basic.

P.S. I tried the latest media creation tool and also windows 10 21h2 I've found online

Windows did install this time (first time installing after updating the bios) but this is literally the first thing I see after starting the PC (the installer crashed with a kernel violation stop code or whatever in the bsod)

Have you tried installing it on a different drive

No, since other drives are HDDs and are full of things she wants to keep, if it keeps failing I'll try tho

But if you still don't understand what I mean:

  1. The windows installer managed to finish and it got the countdown part
  2. As soon as the countdown finished I got a BSOD with the kernel_violation (incomplete name, I don't remember the full error) stop code
  3. The PC restarted itself and after the windows loading circle the first thing to popup is the BSOD in the attached picture
#

The PC restarted once again and I manage to "complete" the setup, I created a user and whatnot, but when you get to the part where windows greets you with a "Hello" on a black screen it BSODed again with the same memory management error

#

It restarted once again and it logged me in instantly, without going back to the black "Hello" screen where it usually hangs there for some time on a normal, working, installation

#

Now I'm running the built in windows memory diagnostic and it's at 28%, it says it found some hardware problems

#

The thing is, everything worked just fine before trying to reinstall windows, besides cod and Fortnite having fps issues

One ram bank was faulty

I removed one and reinstalled windows, everything is going as it should be since then
