I need opinions on this list, and yes, I do want a 1000w PSU.

I've heard several takes on the list, both good and bad
no i don't have them already
.
saint lucia, it's in the caribbean. suggest parts as if i'm in the USA though
2500 for the pc parts
okay
Ok
What do you do with your pc?
2500 is the budget but not for the monitor thats why its set to 0
Productivity? Gaming?
cybersecurity, gaming and probably gonna be rendering videos on it too
but nothing too too crazy
both
Do you need aesthetics?
i don't care about aesthetics whatsoever
Lemme change some things
i don't want to change the list too too much, but i do want to get the best parts for the budget
i was only thinking about changing the cooling
to a galahad trinity
well my whole reason is for upgradeability
i don't wanna have to buy another psu later
i usually like to ask for reasons for component switches
so i guess you'll let me know why you chose certain things over others
Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
I switched the ram
Cl30 6000 is better than cl34 6000
You don't need a 1tb boot drive which you had originally
500gb + 2tb drive with dram cache is optimal
Especially for productivity
And uhh, this is a better aio
Will keep that 7950x3d chilly
what AIOs are generally the best?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
hang on
here this is a better case
cause i spoke to someone who said the i9 14900K is uncoolable
they're wrong
you can cool a i9-14900k
but you need a very good motherboard
good quality thermal paste
very good aio/water cooling loop
and a good case
Deepcool ls720 is the one I’m getting currently
they told me that the case i had was the best one i could possibly get for a good budget price
v_v
It's a good aio
I was told it’s pretty good for the price
It’s probably a bit overkill for my build but
No Lian li case is good for the price iirc
Montech air 903 max is better
You could spend a bit more
And get 400d
4000d*
The phanteks g360 ?? Is that a good cas
From Corsair
I stick to montech, Corsair, deepcool or lian li for aesthetics
It's a good case
It was in my budget so
But I prefer montech air 903 max
Not sure what that is but the phanteks fit in my price pretty well
Lmk cuz I can make some cuts if I overdid the budget too much @silver cipher
Ye it looks good
I was tryna make a new post rn but it’s not working.. was wondering if somone could look through my list
yea for the parts the budget is pretty strict
i mean we can go above 2500
but we dont wanna go too much over
To be fair
that aio looks fine
yea I'd replace the aio with the one you had
It's not an intel chip so its sufficient
Even a good air cooler would work
But aio is preferable as x3d are sensitive to high temps
14700k 😭 how do u cool that
Water cool block
Unnecessary
Prob overkill
Ye
lol why do people use it though
i mean i'm also getting arctic thermal paste
I mean people have found ways to cool 7000 series threadrippers
running with ovrrclocks
Fair
Ye that's good
Ayy I finally could post a “post”
lol
tbh.. idek
optimizing the build is difficult
a lot of people have different opinions
Fair I’m currently getting an overkill one as well but
Yk I care more about aesthetics
i couldn't care less about aesthetics
i just want the best performance for my money
productivity and gaming
rendering videos, cybersecurity
for cybersecurity i think its the gpu and ram that matters the most
i mean cpu matters too but
i think its mostly gpu and ram
but i could be wrong
doesnt the deepcool have a better pump but worse fans?
Do the ssds have cache?
I always assumed when Partpicker didn't say cache they didn't have it 💀
I think its too much for an qhd 170hz monitor
