old laptop experiment (trying to bring it back from the dead)

So im running a lil experiment with and old laptop so i realized the netword card wasnt installed cuz it was dammaged i guess slap another in then the system shuts off on login then goes to no power take it out no problems at all

this is just very new to me

Laptop now powers on then loses power no boot

Specs? (Network card, laptop itself) ... How did you install it (in what slot, did you change anything else?). To me this sounds like it is incompatible

Dell Inspiron 3451

Intel celero n 2840 2.16ghz
Not sure of the original network card but the one i had put in was an intel dual band wireless ac7560
4gb ddr3l
500gb hdd

Didnt change anything just the card and the cmos cuz it was dead
