#PC suddenly won't boot properly

I had an issue with an adapter cable for my 24-pin. Swapped it out with the stock PSU cable, and now PC refuses to boot properly... Sometimes I make it to windows, other times I don't. I either get a bluescreen, or my PC turns itself off... I mostly get a CPU error on my debug led.

What do I do now?

I don't remember entirely anymore, but there was the issue with it melting (like literally) on this exact board if I'm not wrong. So if it won't boot, please remove the CPU and check the underside. I don't remember what caused it and how / if it was fixed

Well as you get to Windows sometimes, it's probably fine

i doubt it as well, as had it blown up, you wouldn't boot at all

Firefox is corrupted though

#

Now time to plug in all sata devices as that was also an issue before

Alright, let's hope it works

And simply moving Usb 2 plug into different header brings it back

#

And reset cmos does nothing anymore

#

Just found sth else hoping it's that

#

Now my AIO isn't being recognized

#

So I noticed a sata power plug just got ripped out of my fan rgb hub after working on it, I'm thinking the cable was already damaged. I removed it and can boot.

#

Aio won't receive power though so cpu overheats

#

Oh hold on I think I see the cause

Yeah one of my sata power cables is busted

PC is fully functional again, it was the sata cable
