hi yall, i got a ideapad to reinstall windows because of an error. problem is whatever device i boot from (usb drive or internal ssd) windows setup or windows recovery respectively take like 10 mins to boot. and after that everything was still super slow to the point where i wasnt able to install windows yet. anyone got an idea what might cause this and how to fix this? thx!

can you screenshot tast manager? i want to see what its doing in the background also please provide specs
thx for ur answer, i dont have a working windows install so i cant check. but that doesnt seem to be the issue because its during boot from windows pe images, windows setup usb sticks or windows recovery. seems to be a hardware issue but cant make it out
specs r some cheap 2019 gaming throttlepad, mobile i5 9th gen and some mobile gtx card, 8gb ram.
could be thermal throttle as soon as it boots due to lack or airflow, dried paste, or super dusty
i cleaned the fans, they seem to work, didnt check thermal paste but if itd be throttling the fans should start blowing a lot
dry thermal paste is like having none at all
