#Random blackscreens

I don’t think it’s your PSU, I’m on a 7800x3d and a 7900xt, that thing pulls 390w under full load and I have zero issues with my 750W psu
Its either my GPU or my PSU. Cause my discord uses the GPU when I checked task manager rather then using my integrated graphics. (Discord being one of the processes that crash during the blackscreen)
For some reason when I’m running cyberpunk on max settings this issue doesn’t happen.
And say for example when running wallpaper engine which uses 90% of my CPU’s integrated graphics it also happens. So it might even be my CPU
I dont imagine its your psu, aslong as its actually a good quality one
The 4070ti is more efficient than my card, and this runs fine
Latest gpu drivers and all that yeah?
yeah
Done any kind of overclocking or anything?
Might be that, i didnt check the rating when i bought it
None
Can you send the model of it?
Gotchu, one sec
Cos its weird that it would be fine playing cyberpunk, full maxxed,
Which thats sure to make that thing draw its TDP
It was fairly cheap, but also at the top of the most popular page which is why i got it
Also, what 4070 is it?
gigabyte 4070ti?
Its a bronze
So it might be
The PSU
but it shouldnt be the psu at the same time
id imagine bequiet would make sufficient quality PSU's im not sure tho
Hmm, weird one you have here
Extremely
aswell as the gigabyte card, gigabytes good so
I mean maybe it could be some kind of driver issue?
seems it could be either software or hardware kinda thing
yeah but then i wouldnt be able run most games smoothly
Not to mention this only happens when im not gaming
Its when im on discord or youtube n stuff
What exactly happens?
Screen goes black, audio gone
are you able to recreate it on command or?
Comes back 2 seconds later
And i can see discord restarting in the background
Aswell as my wallpaper engine being completely broken
ill try
Later today though, i gotta head to work
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB
and also adding onto the gpu, why i thought it mightve been the gpu is cause i had to unscrew the case’s backparts so the gpu could be screwed on, and while doing that I pulled my gpu in and out a few times, and it was hard to remove from the motherboard cause my fingers could barely push the thing thats holding it down
So i mightve been a bit rough
That idk
Prolly default settings
Never went into bios to change ram speed
Can you show a video of you replicating the blackscreenig
