ddr5
would ddr5 5200 be better than my previous ddr4 3600
(im upgrading from a laptop btw :/)
is this usd or cad
cad
is nvidia mandatory, you'd be able to get a lot better performance with equivalent priced amd cards
not sure if i'd spend 130 on ddr4 in 2024
your motherboard doesnt support ddr5, so i'd probably get a cheaper alternative instead of corsair vengeance
yea but u should definently be getting a board that supports ddr5
not really future proof
true
also, what games are you playing
like
apex, val, warframe, probably some other games
your laptop has 3600?
well you cant tell how fast ram is due to shit natuer of ram eg getting xmp with trrds 9
fair
but ddr5 is easy choose since cost is not much more and the higher end cpu can make use of the extra banwith
ddr4 2600 does not exist. laptops usually only take JEDEC ram, which probably means 2666 with a pretty high CL
in which case, yes the DDR5 will be "faster"
no i emnant 3600
my did my computer run 2600
till bsod
but also that's not how you measure ram speed
my laptop has 3200
you wont notice a significant difference upgrading ram speeds i'd say
read the part where mans said laptop, and where i said laptops usually only take JEDEC
it depends
like, it'd be really really minimal increases in stuff like fps
unless you're going from like ddr3 1300 to ddr5 6000, then maybe
then it'll most likely be 3200 CL22
yeahh
anyways here's an updated list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hDWgCd
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700, Radeon RX 7700 XT, NZXT H5 Flow RGB ATX Mid Tower
i would highly suggest going 7700xt at 1440p, 4060ti 8gb does not have enough vram and 16gb version is ass pricing
