Hey folks, had this PC for a good few years now and starting to show its age in games. Just wondering what upgrade would be best bang for the buck.

i5 7600k, 1070 8gb, 16gb 2133 +1440p 144hz monitor
mostly multiplayer games like fortnite, cod + fifa at low quality high fps
no real budget, I just dont game that much and would rather just upgrade as efficiently as possible
so what would you upgrade first, what would you reccomend.

Felt some stuttering in game so thought some faster ram might be the option ? bottleneck calculators point towards CPU being the issue so idk what to think

either a 12400 (something like that), or a r5 7600. the 7600 will need ddr5 ram.
