#Ram Upgrade, Similar Product Out of Stock

I currently have 2 sticks of:

**Crucial Ballistics 3200 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory 8GB. **

I'm thinking of Adding two more, totaling 32 gigs...

However, it appears that Crucial does not sell it anymore (it says out of stock wherever I go)

Looks like my motherboard can support up to 128.

So my questions:

  1. Would it be better to just buy another 4 sticks of a different Brand?

  2. If It is okay to get 2 sticks of another brand, can I get any recommendations on which brand I should look for?

what bin bin is current ram

if current bin of ram is 3200 cl22 1.2V get more ram with same bin

if any thing at not 1.2V get new ram

or dont expect it to work at rated speeds

well dont expect xmp kits to work with other ram

i guess im confused the current ones i used are 2 8GB...But your saying mixing other rams is bad if voltage is higher than 1.22 Mine are 1.37 it appears). I also us xmp, and your saying that they are unstable

i am saying mixing ram that has xmp is bad idea unless you want to have it run at 2133

or have the PAIN of making it stable

1 is nice safe jedec other is faster xmp bin

and 5000 cpu like ram around 3600 to 3800 but higher then 3600 you need to mess with other setting in bios to make it work right due to how the fabric works on auto

2dpc is very bad with ddr5

i have ddr4, not sure if thats a difference 🙂

and most intel systems on ddr4 are best with 1dpc so thay can run faster ram speed

but amd 5000 non g and 5500 they dont mind since there limit is not max ram speed or imc its the fabric
