new gpu, screen flickering when changing apps

got a powercolor rx 6600xt and when i change tabs and move my mouse for a couple seconds i get some weird screen flickering to black, very fast but noticeable

Do you have the newest GPU driver installed?

What exactly do you mean by "flickering"? Can you record a video?

i tried multiple times but everytime i try to recreate it it doesnt work and then like 2 mins after i stop trying it does

Could very well be drivers, or the gpu in and of itself is loose on the mobo, power cables may be loose or hdmi/display cables are loose

alr checked everything "physical", all fine
and yesterday i did a proper ddu and driver install with also fresh chipset driver install

i also tried another cable that i know works perfectly and same issue

i'm starting to think the gpu is faulty

yes i tried another port too and it was the hdmi one

not the same flickering tho this one takes a bit more than half the screen and its in white
