Don’t get an aio for longevity, and especially for a 7600/x

stoic galleon
#

this absolutely smokes that build

#

and it has storage lmao

Do the differences in the gpu brands make big enough of a change to matter?

stoic galleon
#

no

#

7800xt is a better GPU

normal falcon
#

but I prefer nvidia

Why?

?

hidden yacht

Yeah, but wdym quality of life

normal falcon
#

like I already know how everything in NVIDIA works and I have only heard of worse things regarding qol from amd

#

but I agree it has better performance and is cheaper

#

the money is not worth losing my sanity

Amd has gotten a lot better. Their driver issues basically no longer exist

normal falcon
#

Do you have any other recommendations for this build?

I don’t think a hdd should be in this build. An ssd would be a much better option. Substantially faster

normal falcon
#

I didnt put storage in yet

#

lol

If you’re not worried about ultimate performance, the teamgroup mp33 pro/mp34 goes up to 4TB on the tlc version and has more than enough performance for most tasks

How is the mobo from his build better than any other mobo around $200-275? Provide facts.

stoic galleon
#

it's inexpensive and performs the same

hidden yacht
#

I didn’t look at the motherboard. I probably wouldn’t go matx tbh. I prefer atx boards with more pcie expansion

stoic galleon
#

I went matx cuz cheap

hidden yacht
#

Idk what he’ll want to do with it in the (ideally, for him) next 10 years

stoic galleon
#

maybe replace the GPU?

hidden yacht
#

I also said that I don’t think an hdd shouldn’t be in this build unless you need a boatload of storage

stoic galleon
#

why not?

#

hdds are plenty fast for pretty much everything
