the kit your friend recommended is a bit slower but has tighter timings

honestly though, you're really not looking at much difference between 3600mghz vs 3200mghz and cl18 vs cl16. especially when you're not running a top of the line CPU

I would go for whichever is cheaper

I'm curious as to why you think you need a ram upgrade tho

unless you're playing star citizen or smth, 16gb at 3200mghz shouldn't be the bottleneck of your PC
