Restart the pc
What motherboard do you have?
Msi b 450
How since it dont turn on
what usb devices do you have connected to your pc?
try pulling all usb devices and rebooting your PC, there may be some short circuiting going on somewhere
f it doesn't work, I would take a closer look at external USB ports on the chassis and internal USB connectors on the mobo, if there is something touching it. A loose cable, the chassis, or such
I've had this sort of issue before, I just updated my bios and it ended up working
Theres no cables except the gpu cable now
Can i go to bios safely toho?
Tho
Im scared its gonna break if ill go to bios
No go to bios
@torn fable Do you have case mounted external USB ports? Or are they all mobo mounted?
All mobo duuude
I added a hard drive to my build yesterday worked today it doesnt
I did that
Oh
I try to remove cmos batery now
DAMN still the samw
Same
Im going into bios
I cant go to bios lol it apreas faster then bios
looks like a front panel i/o issue
try unplugging the usb cables that goes into the mobo from the front panel
Try removing power and cleaning each USB port with a toothbrush and Isopropyl alchohol.
I dont have frobt panel
Can it be the power button
That SHOULDN'T touch the serial bus.
Do you have good ESD disciplines?
No idea what that is
Electric Static Discharge. EG. Grounding yourself to the chassis and maintaining contact with the chassis, before and during touching internal electronics.
Ill reset bios by removing bát for 5 minutes
ESD is a serious threat Jim!
Power doesn't matter. It is discharge of static electricity in your body to the components.
Always good, just word to the wise, it is more effective on the case frame.
I am curious what is causing this.
What devices did you have plugged in?
Do you have carpet?
No
Have you tried booting without keyboard/mouse. Absolutely NO USB DEVICES?
Yeah
He says the motherboard Is bad and that msi motherboards are known to break easyli
Did you try booting without the case?
I did not how would that help?
If you have a cheap case or a damaged one from shipping, the motherboard can be touching the case somewhere causing a short and giving you the error. It has happened to many users here like that.
Just assemble everything outside your case and power it on
Oh i can try tomorow then its in the reapair shop thanks
Come to think bout it the case Is pretty beat up
Nope still the same but this time after few turning on and off it stays on with just an blackscreen
This sucks
I just dont get it
yes i did im in bios
Anyone knows what Now?
So another thing to try. It could be a short from a broken or damaged USB port. I think some systems will not bring up all the front panel USB ports when in Bios. so you may be abel to get itno bios but it won't boot when it goes to power the front panel USB ports. I would try disconnecting the cables from the USB headers on the motherboard and see if that helps. Refer to your boards manual to deterine what is what and where those might be.
i was unable to get to bios but miraclously got in today then i left it it tryed to boot like 5 times then it did
