Does it say no signal or just a black screen?
Let me ask
Sorry it took so long, he said no signal
Then it’s probably a faulty cable or port on the monitor.
Try another monitor or cable
He says the cable definitely works cause he uses it for his older pc and the monitor does too but he’s trying another port
He said there’s only one port and he’s used the monitor before and it works
In the video you posted what is that red light on the gpu?
I don’t know honestly I looked that up also there’s a forum saying it’s supposed to be turned off when there’s power to the gpu but in that guys situation everything works fine it’s just that the red light is always on
Hi, I have the ASUS TUF OC RTX 4070 ti and using the cable that came in the box and plug that into 2 separate PCIe cables that go to my EVGA Supernova 850G+ PSU (it doesn't have 16 pin native). When it's on or off the red light is always on and i checked the cables and they are 100% inserted. Doesn'...
I would try reseating the GPU and the ram I know ram can cause weird issues
Okay I’ll tell him to do so
Part List - Intel Core i9-14900KF, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL ATX Full Tower
This is the pcs specs btw
If reseating doesn’t work try reseating the cpu
Okay I’ll tell him that also
He reseated ram and gpu still doesn’t work, he’s going to try cpu now
Alright he reseated the cpu, still not working
For what the gpu?
Yeah
Okay I’ll ask
He said he did
Could it be that the cpu isnt compatible? It says something about that in the pcpartpicker list about having to update bios or something
Oh yeah if the motherboard came out before 14th gen came out It could require a bios update
How can they update the bios without it posting though lol
Does the motherboard have a bios flashback button? It should be on the rear io if it does
Or it could be somewhere else on the board
Check the manual
I’m sure it has flashback but I don’t think he knows where it is
I’ll tell him to read the manual
Okay since it has flashback this should be pretty easy do you have a spare usb drive perhaps?
Where is it on the board?
Idk but he’s getting a drive right now
On the website it shows how to be done I sent it to him
Every thing else you need to do is easy and can be googled so my work here is done
Yea thank you bro I rlly appreciate it
