No just a dual 6 pin

wdym

#

the gpu needs 2 6 pins?

#

your power supply is what would have that

ripe finch
#

That’s the connector it needs but my psu has only got one

warm osprey
#

then you need a new psu

ripe finch
#

Yeah but im on a tight budget and I don’t know what to get

warm osprey
#

what are your specs

ripe finch
#

4th gen i5 20gb ddr3 and a hd 6950

warm osprey
#

what is your budget

ripe finch
#

40

warm osprey
#

uhhhhhh

#

PSU's that wont light your computer on fire start at like $80

ripe finch
#

Oh-

#

To be honest I could probably sell the psu inside my pc for 50 so I’d have £90

warm osprey
#

oh, that could work

ripe finch
#

The listings for my cx500m are between £45 to £77

#

So that could work

warm osprey
#

this way more wattage than you need, but its very high on the psu tier list and should last you ages. lower wattage psus also dont get much cheaper, and are lower quality

Cool then thank you I’ll get that then

#

Once I sell this psu

#

Thank you for your time I was kinda struggling on what to get

#

I was actually debating on getting a SATA to 6pin instead

warm osprey
#

thats not a good idea

#

yeah np. that's pretty much my goto psu recommendation for budget builds

ripe finch
#

Nice

#

I got that pc dirt cheap like £30 with mobo cpu cooler ram and psu

warm osprey
#

oh wow, thats good

ripe finch
#

But I’ve been needing to upgrade cuz my wimpy Lenovo 7i is garbage for gaming

warm osprey
#

if you get the rm750e, it should carry you through many pc revisions

ripe finch
#

Okay cool I’ll look it up

#

Ima close the chat now. Thanks for the help I appreciate it 😄

#

Take care

warm osprey
#
