here’s the cpu support list https://www.gigabyte.com/Ajax/SupportFunction/Getcpulist?Type=Product&Value=3809
so no, apparently it doesnt
1090T is mostly the strongest cpu u can use for this board
wdym ‘pop cpu’
Means place it in socket ,I read somewhere that any am3+ board should be able to run any am3+ CPU ,and that list is made with avalible CPU's at the time ,also some PC bilders say that they did build allot of computers with CPU's that are not listed on compatibility list , remains to be seen ,CPU arrived I'll try run it
It's true that some AM3+ and even AM3 mobos are able to run chips that are not officially supported on them, although they usually require a Beta bios to even function.
8350 isn't officially supported by your motherboard, but as long as you flash the BIOS you might get lucky.
Obviously no guarantee it will actually work or be stable
How realible is beta bios?
Question is not how reliable it is, it's whether or not it's stable.
When something is in beta, it means that it has not been ironed out.
Nor has it been extensively tested to asses potential issues.
So it might work perfectly and not have any issues whatsoever, or it may absolutely suck and make your system unstable.
So last compatible tested cpu is FX-8140 with F3 bios ,should i update bios 1st to F3 cos I'm currently have F2 or try running cpu with F2
well if anyone is interested in outcome , FX-8350 works on GA-880GMA-USB3 with F3 bios
