Budget monitor for watching films

Get a high quality monitor with a moderate refresh rate

#

Like 60hz

#

And get 1440 or 4k

#

Cant afford 4k, and 1440 wont be of any use to me since most stuff ill be watching is 1080p and my low-end laptop probably wont go well with it

#

Resolution and size wise I know its fine, I'm good with 24" 1080p. Wondering about everything else

Ok just look at some reviews for stuff like dell and spectre

#

They have some good stuff

#

60hz will be all you need

#

And maybe look at 27in

Heard that 24" is better for 1080p

#

That’s true

#

But 27”is just fine

Not unless you want an essentially 720p monitor

I own a 27" 1080p monitor

I can see the individual pixels and they're pretty big

So, can someone give me an opinion on the two monitors listed?

#

theres some 24 inch 1080p monitors at like best buy right now for like $80-120 and some of em are decent enough

#

most of them are like 75hz or more

I think it’s fine

#

You have to really focus

#

1080p is acceptable on 24" but for 27" its not great

#

i would go 1440 for a 27"

So those are the only options im left with

#

Ended up purchasing the dell one, hope it will be fine, seemed good enough.
