#Budget monitor thoughts

oh damn
i wouldnt pay more than 120 bucks for it since it has a below average color gamut
Will that not be good enough?
you might loose some colors since it has about a 98% coverage and its missing some blues or oversaturates them
it might be good enough ig but im looking at it through a harsh view
Is there a big difference between that and 99%?
Because thats the max I've found for that price with the conditions I set
Let me tell you what im used to
The dell g5 5587 display
Which is pretty old
Anything similar to that would be fine tbh
99.2 or higher is about average from ips panels
that monitor actually seems to be better
the samsung one
Great
I've actually heard that the smaller a screen is with a certain resolution the better the quality is
That's till the difference is unnoticeable
So is the dell screen better in quality since it's smaller?
Or is the difference between the two barely noticeable
24 inch is the sweetspot for 1080p
Ah so anything below it would be unnoticeable?
yeah and sometimes even too cramped
Got it. Thanks.
Pretty good for $100
It is a no name brand which isn’t ideal but other than that its great
if you read youd relise theyre trying to do it local
OH
Totally ignored that part my bad
The brightness isn’t ideal, I’d usually aim for 300 cd/m^2
Not sure I can find that. should 250 be fine in a dark room?
Yeah
Or will it actually look dark like showcased online
Find that hard to believe, looks too dark
So its probably to do with the video and not the actual brightness
It cant be that bad
My old device was probably around 250 and it didn't seem dark at all
Just watched another showcase and it seems absolutely fine
I guess its something that will bother you only if you're used to more
That's a phone
No shit
250 isn't bad for a back-light like my aoc bs can't even do more than 200 on average
Over 200 colors look like they got shat put of the realm oh hell
Does that apply to that monitor aswell?
