I'm considering getting the Azza Aero 480 PC Case for my GF's new build. Seems like one of the only cases that supports EATX, has no tempered glass, and is using modernish IO on the front panel.
I really wanted to get her the Fractal North to begin with, but it doesn't support EATX 😭
Will most likely be paired with:
GIGABYTE X670E AORUS Master
XFX Speedster MERC310 AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX
be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 Quiet Cooling CPU Cooler
Other case suggestions would be fine as well.

I should said I'm against tempered glass on the case because I literally just had a side panel shatter the other day when removing it. Also airflow is hugely important.

Also how the fuck did you manage to shatter tempered glass

#

Are you sure it wasn’t acrylic

I'm absolutely sure it wasn't acrylic. I took it off the side and it barely tapped the leg of my desk, but happened just right to shatter it.
Also don't just say my build is ass, suggest something different.
She wants to go balls to the wall gaming, art, animation, and possibly some scientific work. She wants a build that will last a long time.

Monitors ordered, NVMe ordered, and heatsink ordered.

4 sticks of ddr5 is unstable btw

#

And speeds above 6400mhz don’t work very well with AM5

#

6000mhz CL30 is the best for am5

#

Also the benefits from titanium efficiency units are not worth the extra $200 price tag

#

Also why the $500 mobo

#

imo B650e is more than you’ll ever need, but I guess the extra m.2 slot you get with the X670 boards is kinda worth it, not like you’ll use all 4tb but oke

I wasn't really seeing cheaper B650e Gigabyte boards when I was looking otherwise I would have chosen that. Going with Gigabyte specifically because everything I've seen has pointed to them being the best build quality and stability with AM5. MSI particularly has been hit or miss, and ASUS has just gone to shit lately.
Not going with the ASRock Phantom Gaming 7900 XTX because I've seen a lot of reports of thermal issues and build quality issues such as screws being loose.
I'll probably swap out the RAM for your recommendation.
Seasonic power supplies are some of the best. I'd consider trusting the Gigabyte if I saw it tested by Gamers Nexus and passing well, but otherwise I'm not trusting Gigabyte power supplies. Might swap out for the SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold

Why not the Sapphire Pulse then, Sapphire is often compared to Evga

Yeah I'm considering dropping down to the Pulse. EVGA has usually been great with power supplies (RIP EVGA GPUs). I can't remember 100%, but I think they source from Seasonic.
Possibly switching out the motherboard, but re-evaluating now.
