I just bought this monitor, but the wall plug for the power supply that comes with it is the 2-prong US-based version. I live in the UK, and so I need an EU mains connection.

It's a mains plug that plugs into a power brick with a cloverleaf connector (power brick model ADPC2045)

Should I:

  • Just buy a travel adapter thing and leave it at that
  • Or Buy a new plug/cable for the power brick

If I should buy the whole cable, could someone help me out with what I need to buy, as I have no idea if I need to match voltages etc.

The power brick:

Input: 100-240V ~ 1.5A 50-60Hz
Output: 45.0W 20.0V 2.25A

The current clover cable for the brick:

16A 240V

It even says on the input specifications that it's rated to take pretty much any wall power and convert it to DC
